1. Information we collect
When you sign in, we receive basic account information from Google, such as your name, email address, Google account identifier, and profile image when available. We also collect the scenario choices, prompts, jobs, and purchases needed to provide your dispatches.
2. How we use information
We use information to authenticate accounts, create and deliver requested content, process payments, prevent abuse, maintain the service, and understand basic product usage. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Service providers
We use Google for authentication, Stripe for payment processing, and third-party generation services to create requested media. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. We send only what is reasonably needed for the requested function.
4. Public sharing
If you choose to share a dispatch, the video or page may be accessible to anyone who receives its link. Do not submit private information or prompts you do not want processed by the service providers used for generation.
5. Security and retention
We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service is guaranteed secure. We retain account, purchase, and generation records as reasonably needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service.
6. Your choices
You may stop using the service and ask questions about your account information. Some records may need to be retained for security, payment, fraud prevention, or legal reasons.
7. Children
Alternate Past is not directed to children under 13. Do not use the service if you are not old enough to consent to these terms in your jurisdiction.
